How not exercising isn’t good for your wellbeing
There are many different ways to keep your body healthy and fit but today we are focusing on what happens when you don’t keep your body fit and healthy.
Exercise is important to us. For your information, exercise does not only reduce health problems and disease but it also affects your appearance. Exercising can help your self-esteem and confidence. Exercise also improves your body by helping to pump oxygen and nutrients around your body.
Heart disease
It's important to exercise because you could get diseases such as heart disease. Heart diseases can lead to heart attacks, so it's very important to exercise. Heart disease can be caused by an unhealthy diet, smoking and being overweight. Did you know in America 610,000 people die a year because of heart disease thats 1 in every 4 deaths. In New Zealand general statistics shows 180,000 New Zealanders currently have heart disease, thats 1 in every 21 adults, every 90 minutes 1 person will die because of heart disease so that’s 4 people who will die in one school day of 6hours, just for clarity.
A healthy diet
Healthy eating means eating a variety of nutrients. Nutrients contain fat, water, vitamins and minerals.
Nutrients are important for everyone when being physically active and maintaining a healthy weight. Eating healthy is an excellent way of keeping your body strong and healthy. What you eat affects your immune system, your mood and your energy levels.
High Blood pressure
Being overweight can cause high blood pressure. It comes in many types of causes such as smoking, overweight, lack of physical activity and genes. There are a few ways to treat it, lose extra pounds, eat a healthy diet like fruits and vegetables, fresh is best! cut back on the sugar,carbohydrates and caffeine, which most people love because it starts off your morning and makes you adequate for the rest of your day. Some people have to have caffeine to help them.
In conclusion, I think everyone should look after their bodies and be on a healthy diet and exercise, I hope I have persuaded you to exercise and keep your body healthy and strong thank you for listening.

Last week we started to work on persuasive writing and are given topic was - Why homework should be banned. Below is my writing.
Why too much homework can be stressful
Most kids my age get far too much homework. My class believes that “homework is stressful and causes sleep deprivation” one of the students said, so it's certain that we should talk about it.
Firstly homework is such a hated topic that teachers apparently love to give it and students hate to receive it and parents usually are confused by it. It stresses kids and parents out, kids want to play after school and run around kicking a ball not kicking a wall because they can’t figure out a math equation in their homework book. Students might want to spend time with their parents but they can't because of homework.
Some kids tend to breeze through it but for others, it may as well be a daily struggle. Some kids may not have anyone to help them with their homework because their family could be at work trying to pay for their son or daughters uniform and stationery for school. Parents get confused because they had harder homework but it's got easier and different in general most kids despise homework.
So we have 5 days of school for 40 weeks which makes a good 180 days of homework, homework and more homework that we don't need! We barely remember anything we have learnt in school so if you were to ask one of your caregivers, name one thing you remember that you completed in their homework, it's most likely they won't remember
In short, my reasons why we shouldn't have homework are it's so stressful on our little brains, it takes away time of play, sports and family bonding.

my book review about Drama
My book review
DRAMA
What it’s about: Drama is a graphic novel written by Rina Telgemeier an American cartoonist which focuses on the story of Callie, a high schooler and theater lover who works in her schools drama production crew. While going through seventh grade, Callie deals with teen struggles including confusing crushes and budding friendships.
My opinion: I really like the storyline and how it’s laid out and OI love how it so supportive over the LGBTQ community! . And I also like that this book gives a more realistic point of view of a 14 year old girl and how she is so passionate about her love for drama out of all I love this book and I think everyone should read it!.

What can smoking do to you? Smoking is bad for your health and is bad for your lungs, teeth and brain. Smoking cigarettes can cause lung disease and damages the airways which makes it had to breathe. Smoking also stains your teeth and leads to bad breath. Nicotine is a chemical in tobacco that keeps you smoking. The tobacco gets in to your body which goes into the brain once it's in your brain release chemical called dopamine which makes you feel good.
Bad smoking cases such as the case of lung cancer, around 80 percent of all deaths from lung cancer are caused by smoking. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women. Smoking can also lead to throat cancer and if not treated properly you'll most like end up with a hole in your throat and will not be able to talk.
What is in a cigarette that most likely makes us addicted? Nicotine and Tar also tobacco, arsenic, ammonia, acetone, and toluene methylamine. Smoking if you have Asthma can also lead to asthma attacks and damages your lungs. It also irritates your throat and damages your airways which makes them swollen and narrow and filled with sticky mucus. If you’re an asthmatic and you smoke you have a higher risk of having attacks.
Conclusion
My conclusion is that everyone should stop smoking and start healthy living it’s that simple.
